Today’s culture has elevated meditation to a fancy term. Why has it gained such a following? Nowadays, people are more aware of their mental health and wellbeing. What exactly is meditation?

True bliss, calm, and joy are attained via meditation. It helps us arrive to the state of Satchitananda, which is to be conscious of the Truth and experience its unending happiness.

Getting rid of the clutter inside of you

We instantly conjure up a mental image of meditation when we hear the word. a representation of a monk or saint. Though it’s untrue, we frequently link sainthood to meditation. The MTR, or the mental thought rate, must be reduced from 50 thoughts per minute to one thought per minute.

How can the mental thought rate be lowered?

Meditation can help you lower your MTR. Meditation allows us to examine the mind and lowers our mental thinking pace. We must keep an eye on the mind and be able to grip onto it. Because we become aware of our minds when we do that, we become an observer and a witness. Our intelligence is awakened once the mind is trained. We can distinguish between true and false ideas with the use of our brains. We can be awakened to the truth in this condition of thoughtlessness or mindfulness. We come to terms with the fact that we are not this body, mind, or ego.

The Soul also emerges from SIP and merges back into it, much like a wave comes from the ocean and returns to it. We also understand that every person has a soul. God is present in everything and everywhere. Everything is a representation of God.

In search of enlightenment

The secret to spiritual enlightenment is meditation. The first step towards enlightenment is to begin daily meditation. We can begin by meditating for 10 minutes every day and build up to longer sessions over time. Once we reach that point, we will spend the entire day in meditation, in a level of awareness, where we will truly feel at peace and happy. We may communicate with our actual selves and the divine awareness while we are in this condition. We feel at ease when the mind is calm. Happiness is built on a foundation of peace.

Regular meditation induces a state of consciousness or thoughtlessness when the intellect is engaged and we are able to make wise judgements thanks to the intellect’s ability to discriminate.
