Apple, the American technological titan, is preparing to unveil its newest array of iPhone 15 series devices in September, and as the big day approaches, new rumours and leaks abound.  According to the most recent rumours, Apple plans to reveal the goods in the third week of September. According to recent reports, the staff has been urged not to take vacation days at the same time. Here five reasons why Apple’s latest series is worth the wait:

New Dynamic Island

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, all iPhone 15 models, including the entry-level iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, will feature Dynamic Island this year. The Dynamic Island, a unique pill-shaped cutaway, first appeared on the iPhone 14 Pro.

USB Type C port

On the iPhone 15 series, the lighting port is expected to give way to the flexible USB-C connection. The smartphone is now in the same league as a slew of Android devices, including its own distant cousin, the Apple iPad Pro. Since the European Union demands that all smartphones and tablets sold in the EU feature a USB-C charging port beginning in 2024, Apple looks to be forced to make this hardware change.

Improved battery

The iPhone 15 series is likely to boost battery capacity across the board. According to reports, the standard iPhone 15 would feature a 3,877mAh battery, which is a big upgrade above the 3,279mAh capacity of the iPhone 14.  The iPhone 15 Plus, which has a 4,912mAh battery, is expected to provide a big increase. Furthermore, the Pro models are getting in on the fun, with the iPhone 15 Pro expected to have a 3,650mAh battery, which will be larger than the 3,200mAh capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro.

Latest chipset

Despite the fact that the iPhone 14 Pro currently features the powerful A16 Bionic chipset, leaks indicate that the iPhone 14 Pro’s brother will have an even more complex A17 Bionic CPU.  Because of the boost in processing speed, the iPhone 15 Pro might become one of the fastest smartphones available, enabling smoother multitasking, slicker visuals, and improved overall performance. If you want the fastest processing power or even lag-free gameplay, waiting for the iPhone 15 Pro isn’t a bad idea.

New 'Action Button'

A new “Action Button” might be similar to the action button on the Apple Watch Ultra, but with additional options oriented towards phones. On the future Pro iPhone models, the Ring/Silent switch is expected to be replaced by a new physical button. Users will be able to use this to quickly access a variety of functions and settings without having to unlock their phone or open an app.
