59 nations now grant access without a visa as the “Indian passport” gains stronger. Here is the list

The top two countries on the survey, Japan and Singapore, both have visa-free travel to 192 locations.

According to the most recent Henley Passport Index study, India has improved its passport power ranking for the year 2022, moving up seven spots to rank 83rd from 90th last year.

In addition to Oman (the newest addition), Indian passport holders can now travel to 59 more countries without a visa. Since 2006, India has added 35 new locations.

The number of places that holders of each passport can visit without a prior visa is ranked by the Henley Passport Index. Based only on information provided by the International Air Transport Association, the index (IATA).

The top two countries on the survey, Japan and Singapore, both have visa-free travel to 192 locations. Second-placed countries having visa-free travel to 190 locations were Germany and South Korea.

For the third consecutive year, the Henley Passport Index 2022 placed the Pakistani passport as the fourth worst passport for international travel, according to local media on Thursday.

The research states that people with Pakistani passports can enter 31 countries without a visa or with one upon arrival.

The 199-passport index begins with an Afghan passport at the bottom.

Temporary restrictions are not taken into consideration by the index.
